Cogeneration is a system which supplies electricity and heat simultaneously. However, supplying different energy called electric power and heat makes proper evaluation of the efficiency of cogeneration difficult. Therefore, in the first paper, after arranging the range for evaluation and its evaluation case of cogeneration, the examination subject of an efficiency index was arranged according to four evaluation cases.
