Abstract

The control method of thermal storage quantity and the reduction effect of heat source capacity were calculated using the simulation program. Thermal storage quantity is controlled by the inside temperature of the PCM ceiling board. The integrated thermal load of PCM ceiling model was 9% greater than that of the rock wool ceiling model. However, the running cost is 92% lower than that of the rock wool ceiling model. The capacity of heat source can be reduced from 17 to 20% by using the PCM ceiling board.
