Abstract
The outdoor thermal environment, especially the thermal environment at the pedestrian level, plays an important role on the thermal comfort and health of people. The purpose of this paper is to study the effects of semi-open space on the outdoor thermal environment of residential communities, which includes the environments of the whole community and semi-open space. This paper presents the simulation results of residential communities in the city of Guangzhou, China.
