Abstract
Excess energy consumption of HVAC system is not noticed without the dissatisfaction to thermal environment. Recently it has become easier to notice the excess energy of the energy distribution system in buildings with the aid of BEMS. The aim of this study is to adjust the control parameters and the device settings for effective operation of series pump system in HVAC systems. The energy consumption of two major control methods is studied with the facility and the effect of setting status of control parameters on the energy consumption are revealed. Improvement methods are proposed from the experimental results.
