Abstract
The purpose of this study is to verify the energy characteristic of an indoor Speed Skating Rink, and to obtain useful data for the reduction of the operation energy. In this paper, we describe the outline of the building, air conditioning system and ice making system. As the results of CFD analysis, it found that the indoor air temperature of the arena was about 13 degrees and the air flow velocity was from 0.2m/s to 0.4m/s. As the results of energy simulation, it found that air conditioning load for the ice making period was heating load.
