Abstract
Known as tailor order, it is important to be aware of building environment performance while making building design. An optimal building design aid system which integrates CAD, various building performance simulations and optimization algorithm, is proposed in this research based on the concept of Building Information Modeling. The importance and problem of data inheritance of this system was discussed in part2. We tried data inheritance of this system by a case study which used one-floor multi-room model, and analyzed the result to verify the concept of data inheritance.
