Abstract
Medical workers use standard precautions to prevent infection. But standard precautions can't prevent airborne infections. We developed an airborne infection control system of consultation room. We used horizontal push-pull airflow to exhaust patient's cough with droplet nuclei. The push-pull devices can use in a small room. We used 0.5μm dust as alternative droplet nuclei. The concentrations of 0.5μm dust were reduced less than 1/20 when the distance of push-pull devices was 1.5m. Our infection control system can reduce the risk of airborne infection in the existing consultation room.
