OS-19 Research on Evaluation Method of Energy Consumption for Commercial Buildings : (Part 5) Study on Methodology for Measuring the Actual Performance of VRF Systems

Abstract

In order to verify and compare the accuracy of the methods for measuring the actual performance of VRF systems, four methods to estimate the heat quantity were applied to two actual VRF systems. The results of measuring the operational data shows that the method which estimates the heat quantity from the enthalpy of outdoor unit air and the manufacture's estimation method have almost same accuracy and the method which estimates the heat from indoor unit air enthalpy estimated the heat 15-20% smaller compared with the other methods.
