Abstract
In order to analyze the actual performance of VRF systems, the operational data are measured in 3 middle-scale office buildings and a research laboratory in a university using the maintenance checker. In cooling and heating mode the system operation rate and the inlet air temperature are analyzed and the period of shifting the mode (cooling to heating) is compared among the measured buildings. We also analyze the operational method by occupants affects the energy consumption and actual performance of the system.
