Abstract
Energy consumption for hot-water supply accounts for more than 30% of total energy consumption in housing. It is essential to save energy consumption for hot-water supply. The objective of our studies is to clarify the differences of thermal environment caused by various planning of envelope in bathroom. The measurement showed that facing larger exterior wall and single-glassing window tended to poor thermal condition. The result of analysis suggested that reform of thermal insulation and heating bathroom would improve the condition significantly.
