Abstract
In this paper, thermal mixing loss between PZ and IZ were directly evaluated with high accuracy from advection and diffusion heat fluxes in the bounding surface by CFD analysis. The prediction accuracy of this tool was verified by comparison of simulation and experimental results. Thermal mixing loss calculated from advection heat fluxes was redefined using mixing flow rate and difference of air temperature, influences on the loss by each factor were analyzed. According to the result of multiple regression analysis, the strong correlation between thermal mixing loss and AHU inlet air temperature and PZ and IZ setting temperature were confirmed.
