Abstract
There are several electrical methods and apparatus recently proposed for investigating the nature of subsurface strata, but some of these can not satisfactorily be utilized for prospecting of are deposits, because in these methods only the pure electrical characteristics (e. g. specific resistivity etc.) of the various strata are measured.
By our research, we found that by catching the electro-chemical characteristics of the various strata, the are deposits can effectively be prospected.
In this paper our new electrical means are proposed, those are,
1. The method by the measurement of V-I characteristics of subsurface strata.
2. The method by tracing the equi-potential lines on the earth surface created by the forcely polarized potential on the surface of are body by the external current.
3. The method by the measurement of the dielectric-distribution in a drill-hole.
