We studied the independent effect of P, As, S and CO2 that is induced from the7alkali extraction process of wolframite ore. The effect of phosphor was most noticeable, and that of arsenic was the next. S or CO2 give only a slight influences upon the efficiency or quality. The existent condition of P or As had some relation on the efficiency or quality.
We also examined the combined effect of these impuriteis. About the efficiency, some eccentric phenomena were found in the case of P-CO2, As-S system. About the alkali inclusion of WO3, those phenomena occured in As-S, As-CO2 system.
