Prospecting an are body by S. P. method, a difficulty is encountered with the use of usual d. c. potentiometer, when the potential differences vary with stray currents. This paper reports experimental data obtained successfully for the potential, distribution at Hitachi Mine, using an apparatus, which consists of amplifiers and a Braun tube. From the data it is confirmed that this apparatus can easily used for measurements of varing potential differences and S. P. potential differences.
