Screen Printing Technology for Ceramic Green Sheets used in Laminated Electronic Components

Abstract

Laminated electronic components are manufactured by screen printing metal powder pastes on ceramic green sheets containing dielectric materials (powder) as a main component, forming internal circuit patterns, followed by laminating, firing, and the like. Ceramic green sheets, metal powder pastes, screens (screen masks) and printing machines are highly interrelated and greatly affect the quality and reliability of products. Mass production of highly reliable products is made possible by comprehensively examining and optimizing these specifications and manufacturing conditions.
