Abstract
In order to find clothing assistance of the caregivers and clothing interest of children( 3-5 years
old), a questionnaire survey was conducted. It was found that caregivers did not change of their
way of assistance dependent on the growth and development of children, and that caregivers did
not provide assistance based on their view of gender roles.
Interest in clothes in girls was much higher than boys as early as 3 years old. However,
caregivers do not provide girls and boys of any years of different way of clothing support. It may
be necessary to consider the biological basis about the higher level of the interest in clothes of
girls even in earlier ages in addition to the environmental basis due to sexual role or gender
view.
