Change of the consumption per capita of 260 foods due to the change of the income levels is analysed using the data of household consumption by the Goverment. 23 patterns among 32 possible patterns are really found, and the characters of the foods belonging to the respective patterns are discussed. The level of the Japanese dietary life is found to be definitely raised.
