The total of 83 female students attending a course in nutriology leading, to nutritionist's license were searched for their nutritional conditions, diet habits, hematology, and daily schedules for the purpose of introducing good health management, and the following results were obtained: 1) On hematological test, anemia was detected in 22.9% of the subjects. 2) As for the state of nutrient intake, both anemia and normal groups took energy, calcium and iron only in small amounts. There were significant differences between the 2 groups in intake of energy, saccharides, phosphorous, sodium, vitamin A and vitamin C. 3) The anemia group ate insufficiently small amounts of green vegetables and fruit. The intake of fishery products, bean products and dairy products was low in both groups. 4) In the anemia group, consumptive energy markedly exceeded intake energy; therefore, many were very thin. 5) Of all of the subjects, 48.2% worked on a part-time basis. ln the anemia group, more than a half, 52.6%, had a part-time job, and many complained of constipation (52.6%) and poor gastrointestinal condition (47.4%), suggesting that overload with part-time job and inadequate diet habits had various effects upon health conditions, and were, therefore, involved in the occurrence of anemia.
