Abstract
We propose a feedforward control method for the Available Bit Rate (ABR) class of Asynchronous Transfer Mode (ATM) networks. The proposed feedforward control input improves transient responses of a queue length caused by changes of the number of connections. By computer simulations we show the effectiveness of the proposed method.
