The principle feature of our housing equipment design technology is the computerized-mannequin virtual reality experiments to be used in experiments with elderly people, an experiment-shy cohort of subjects. This will enable the experimental data to be effectively used, such as for the expansion of subject analysis results from the viewpoint of physical characteristics, and will realize the highly efficient design of housing equipment that is easy for elderly people to use. This report briefly introduces the system concept of our housing equipment design technology, and describes the evaluation and the designing function using actual examples such as the bathroom.
