The equalization techniques without the knowledge of input signals are said to be blind. The proposed method use 4th-order cumulant in order to smooth out the gaussian noise. Since the cost function with higher order statistics(HOS) has local minima, we also propose to use a simplex-GA to minimize the cost function. Finally we use MLSE equalizer for input signals restore.
