Abstract
Wind turbine generators are driven by stochastically fluctuating wind speeds, and hence the generated power variation causes voltage and frequency change in case of a small power system or an isolated island. To cope with such variations, control strategy for controlling wind turbines is required. Then, this paper presents a new control scheme based on disturbance accommodation control. The result showed that the proposed controller could drastically reduce the power variation.
