Designing Reduced-order H-infinity Controller via Genetic Algorithm

Abstract

We propose a new method of designing reduced-order controller by using Genetic Algorithm with Youla parametrization. Since it is difficult to search for the reduced-order controller directly, we obtain a reduced-order controller indirectly by the search for a full-order controller whose reduced-order controller has approximate optimal full-order controller performance.
