With respect to an elderly person who is not physically handicapped, the bone fracture in tendency to fall sometimes becomes a big issue. Therefore, we propose a new type of body protection orthosis by using a pneumatic element. In this paper, basic characteristic of the element that is used in the orthosis is clarified through some experimental results.
