A multi-robot scheme for victim search operations is proposed. In this scheme, numerous autonomous robots form a virtual network over a devastated closed space such that each robot works as a relatively localized landmark node. Every two adjacent nodes in the net operate so as to keep locating each other. The net expands employing artificial velocity potential generated by itself.
