Recursive Estimation of Time-Delay using a High-order Pade Approximant

The recursive identification of an unknown time-delay value often uses an finite-dimensional approximation to the delay term. An approach to time-delay estimation is presented where the number of parameters to be estimated is independent of the order of the Pade approximation. A partially-known system identification technique will be used to achieve this.
