In this paper, H∞ robust sub-optimal control problem for a plant described by a descriptor form is considered. A sufficient condition is given for the system with descriptor form to be H∞ robust sub-optimal. The condition is derived based on the Riccati inequality. Using the condition H∞ robust sub-optimal state feedback controller is given. The result is an extension of conventional H∞ robust sub-optimal controller designed with state space model.
