Fiber Optic Eye Blinking Sensor

Abstract

A new eye blinking sensor with an optical fiber probe is described. Characteristics of this sensor are investigated in terms of eye parameters and iris movements on the basis of a detection model. By using an optical fiber, a useful eye blinking sensor can be simply constructed.
