Abstract
This paper presents a modification of iterative feedback tuning (IFT) method based on a practical point of view. Iterative feedback tuning method is a direct procedure to search controller parameters. In order to apply this method to process control, especially the process with steady states, the performance index and the test procedure will be modified. Experimental tests show usefulness of the proposed modifications.
