Note on Gekko hokouensis(Sauria: Gekkonidae) found in Kochi Prefecture, Shikoku, Japan

Abstract

Eight specimens of an exotic reptile, Gekko hokouensis, were recently collected from Kochi Prefecture for the first time on Shikoku Island. These geckos were found in a narrow area along the coast. Finding of young juveniles and eggshells strongly suggests that this species has been naturalized in the site.
