Abstract
A specimen of yellowish white-colored terrestrial isopoda, with a reddish brown eye, was collected with several dark gray-colored specimens from a roadside site in Matsuyama-shi, Ehime prefecture, Japan in September, 2022. Based on its morphology, the collected yellowish white specimen was regarded as an albino of Armadillidium vulgare (Isopoda, Armadillidiidae). The genetic composition producing albino specimens is believed to exist in the population of A. vulgare in the area where the present specimen was collected.
