Basal cell carcinoma (BCC) occurs on the face in over 70% of patients. It is classified into nodular, superficial, infiltrative, morpheic, and micronodular types based on their histology. Infiltrative, morpheaform, and micronodular types are classified as high-risk, and resection margins of 5-10 mm are recommended. Reconstruction may be necessary, and the method chosen should account for the facial texture and three-dimensional structure. We report two cases of micronodular BCC : the first was reconstructed using skin grafting with external wire frame fixation, and the second with a nasolabial flap.[Skin Cancer (Japan) 2024 ; 39 : 278-286]
