A case of the socalled cutaneous form of periarteritis nodosa in a woman aged 36 with eruptions on the limbs, waist and lower abdomen was described.
Characteristics of this condition were reviewed statistically from the native literatures, and a problem in the appropriateness of nomenclature for this cutaneous form and its relation to the allied vasculitis particularly to Ruiter's cutaneous allergic arteriolitis was discussed.
