Abstract
We would like to submit 4 reported cases of pseudomonas aeruginosa folliculitis. Pruritic red papules and pustules developed on the midsection, buttocks and thighs. Cultured bacteria from the pustule revealed P. aeruginosa. Duration of eruption was from one to six weeks.
Two patients used a Japanese circulated bath at their home. The water is kept warm and remains in the tub all day.
We hypothesize that pseudomonas aeruginosa folliculitis might be caused by using a circulated bath.
