A route guidance is a set of instructions which explains the route from one place to another and includes various landmarks. In this research, a method for extracting landmarks is investigated. Some salient landmarks are retrieved from a facade database by evaluation of each building facade. This database contains all building facade data being located in the route, and data consist of multi-attribute value. The following attributes are available: Width, Height, Texture, Brand marking, Level of recognition, Location status and Visibility. A proposed method adopts a bootstrapped Choquet integral model and a lambda-fuzzy measure. The attribute scores for all facades are aggregated into overall scores by a Choquet integral. The overall scores are updated by relations among surrounding building facades. After several attempts of the updating, some facades which have higher overall scores in its neighborhood are extracted as landmarks.
