Baryons and baryonic matter from Skyrmions in holographic QCD(16th YKIS Conference Progress in Particle Physics 2008)

Abstract

We study baryons and baryonic matter in holographic QCD with D4/D8/<D8>^^^- multi-D brane system in type IIA superstring theory. We also compare our results with those of a model in the flat space like the hidden local symmetry approach, and show that the curved extra-dimension largely changes the roles of (axial) vector mesons for the baryons.
