Abstract
After a brief introduction to QCD sum rules, I review recent developments to extract vector meson dispersion relation in nuclear medium using QCD sum rules. In nuclear medium, the vector meson dispersion relation will be modified to ω^2-(1+α)q^2-m^^2__v=0 to leading order in the vector meson three momentum q relative to the medium. From previous QCD sum rules at zero q, we find decreasing vector meson mass m_V in nuclear medium. From recent QCD sum rules at finite q, we find α 〜 -0.08 for the transverse direction and α 〜 0.06 for the longitudinal direction at nuclear matter density. Both result are relevant for the interpretation of dilepton data from the on going Relativistic Heavy Ion Collisions experiments and planned vector meson production experiments inside heavy nucleus.
