Abstract
Risk management plays a crucial role for software development to prevent vital defects and grasp the situation of the ongoing project beforehand to meet deadline and required quality. However, systems developers have a challenging issue to visualize the situation for outsiders who are not directly concerned. It is not the outsiders who first recognize the problems of the project but always its project leader. It is probable that this kind of situation will cause vital trouble like the delay of shipment. This report provides a method of simple risk-rating for outsiders to grasp the up-to-date situation of the projects by evaluating the project's risks regularly and figuring them. The approach also applied to an action plan for risk management. Likewise, the report shows that it is effective to compare and rate the various risk situations among projects for organizational risk management.
