Abstract
The idea that the medical and health care process should be considered as service activity is accepted by general. The change of the quality of medical treatment is required by the severe conditions, for example, the new requirement of patients and/or the cost problems. Project Management, which has many good experiences in industrial sector, will be considered as an effective method to solve such problem in medical treatment. In this paper, the application of the project management to the most fundamental clinical medical activity called hospitalization is discussed. The competition of characteristics between the medical activity and IT project shows the homogeneity of them in basic approach.
