Abstract
Maintaining a lot of information systems (especially IT-application systems) by an information system department or an IT-business outsourcer has been carried out in many companies. It is one of the most important things that "required knowledge for maintenance" is kept and extended in such difficult situations. Quality-up and productivity-up in maintenance is so, too. In this paper, through a case study of an IT-business outsourcer, one method of "maintenance" using "knowledge management" is stated.
