Management for breaking through the communication barrier between the scientists and engineering researchers at the planning phase of research-and-development projects

Abstract

NEDO(New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization)’s goal is developing of technological seeds, and industrialization, realization of technical innovation. In this report, how to produce technological seeds effectively was discussed. Existence of the communication barrier between a scientist and an engineer and the effect of reduction of an communication barrier are confirmed by questionnaire survey. For the purpose of reducing communication barrier, the forum with which the information of a scientist and an engineer clashes was planned and held.
