Abstract
"Cost reduction", especially to reduce labor cost, in application development and maintenance is one challenge. It is considered as one solution to collaborate with global resources. In this paper, at first issues of team building in the case of working with global resources in China are summarized. Next, after dividing collaboration level into 3 stages, Initiating/Training/Performing, priority subjects of each stage are identified and solutions for each stage are proposed. Additionally positioning of global resource in a project of each stage is described.
