Abstract
By applying the focus to the historical figure or event, and piling up the knowledge of modern project management there, we can obtain fresh impression and valuable lessons. This time, I will report on Inoh Tadataka who measured the Japanese coast with a basic tool on foot from 55 years old for 17 years in Edo period of 200 previous states of year or more. This report is the one having considered it from the aspect of the project management to the last referring to material and the photograph, etc. in The Inoh Tadataka Museum in Sawara, Chiba-Prefecture where I visited recently.
