Abstract
In order to successfully complete a systems development project, it is important to estimate risks in the project and to eliminate foreseeable risks in advance. And in cases where there are difficulties in completely eliminating potential risks, properly identifying signs of potential risks (risk factors) in advance can greatly reduce risks in project process. We have defined risk factors involved in each process phase of systems development. Each risk factor is quantified with a risk rating. Using the risk rating, we aim to quantify risks in projects and to implement actions in a timely manner. This paper presents our risk reduction approach and describes risk factors, which are the focal point of our approach, and specific measures for the risk factors.
