Abstract
We established a technique of requirements quality scoring. And it is applied to system-development projects as the quality assessment method for requirement definitions. This paper reports the result of quantitative verification of effects of "quality scoring for requirement definitions." First, effects were reviewed as a hypothesis and, subsequently, the hypothesis was verified with collected data from actual projects if it was accurate. As per the result of the analysis, there was a correlation between the score (quality of requirement definitions) and success or failure of project observed.
