Abstract
It is necessary to foresee the risk affected by situational changes and to manage this risk to ensure the success of a project. The effective examination of a particular risk and the determination of appropriate project actions to manage such a risk require the use of past experience and data. Further, to understand the success or failure of the project and their relation to project details, the data of past EVM was collected in this study. Consequently, this study proposed a method of risk management that considers progress reports based on past data. In addition, it demonstrates a method incorporating proposals and techniques to make the risk management guides applicable to the measurement of the data pertaining to past systems development projects.
