Abstract
The number of pages, knowledge areas and processes of the PMBOK^[○!R] Guide-Fifth Edition is the most among the five PMBOK^[○!R] Guides. The concept of the average information is applied to survey the cause of increase in the number of pages, knowledge areas and processes and then the evenness index of knowledge area and process groups in the five PMBOK^[○!R] Guides is calculated. As a result, the relations among the number of pages, knowledge areas and process are made clear in the PMBOK^[○!R] Guide. In addition, the conditional average information of knowledge areas is derived from a priori average information of process groups, so that we can make clear the mutual relation between the average information of knowledge areas and process groups. Therefore, we find that the probability of the average information is very high for the PMBOK^[○!R] Guide-Fifth Edition.
