A Software Process Innovation Program Among Group Companies(<Special Issue>Mechanism and organization activity for succeeding project)

Abstract

Approaches and outcomes of a software process innovation program are reported, which has been conducted by the group composed of two works in Mitsubishi Electric Corporation and their two subsidiary companies in order to achieve the whole best of software development processes in the group. This program is characterized by group-wide sharing of a standard process, a shared personnel training measure and a process quality assurance system, and establishment of a PDCA cycle in the group by using an original process assessment.
