Abstract
Requirements management and development is one of the critical issues among departments in Toshiba Group. We recognize that the planning and sales-engineering division and the development division should proactively work together to develop and manage requirements. However, as types of the issues about requirements differ among business units, we surveyed organizational structure and process of requirements management and development in major business units. We found that their practices can be classified into four patterns and illustrated with two axes. By using those patterns, it enables us to provide strategies that correspond to the business units.
