On Education and Training of Secure Systems Engineers

Abstract

Information systems are considered to be critical infrastructures. However, deficiency of engineers might prevent the development of information society. Therefore, Japanese government has been promoting various programs of IT engineer education and training. The Mext (Ministry of Education, Culture, Sport, Science and Technology) has devoted funds to the education of graduate course level persons in several important areas. Since the proposal of the Kogakuin University was accepted, here is introduced the our educational program and is considered problems of education of IT engineers.
